Dali painted this piece after he learned about the pioneering work of Leon D. Harmon published in the November 1973 issue of Scientific American magazine, entitled, “The Recognition of Faces.” Two lithe angels bring forth the somewhat skeletal image of Lincoln in this graceful image. A limited edition lithograph on Arches paper, 135 of 150, signed lower right and numbered lower left, it is matted and framed.
