Shepard states, “I'm always creating new patterns to use in my street installs and fine art pieces. I used to buy discontinued wallpaper to incorporate patterns into my art, but now I design and print my own. I think these look nice as stand alone prints, not just repeat patterns.”. The florals are a wonderful and intricate vehicle for his screen-printing. This was part of a series of floral prints – two in each of red, dark blue, black, red and blue, created between 2017-2020.
