Bio:

Saussy was a painter from Savannah, Georgia where she studied impressionist art at the Telfair Academy of Arts and Sciences although her art lessons began in public school. She later studied for a year at the Mary Baldwin Seminary in Virginia, the National Academy of Design and the New York School of Fine and Applied Art. Saussy's body of work includes landscapes and portraiture found in museums including the High Museum in Atlanta. She combined realism and impressionism in her unique painting style capturing landscapes throughout the Southwestern region en plein air.
