Leah Wiedemer is an American artist based in Florida. She is known for her landscapes and seascapes depicting the Floridian environment as well as those of Italy, Ireland and the United Kingdom. Her delicate treatment of flowers brings them alive on the canvas and one of her favorites to paint is the sunflower. In Pots of Gold every flowerhead emerges from the stalks in a burst of yellow and gold with the light flooding the canvas dreamily.
