After one of Pablo Picasso’s classical style figurative oil sketches on canvas, originally created in 1922. Depicting a tender scene of Picasso’s first wife, Olga Khokhlova, and the child was Picasso's first son Paulo. The mother caresses the child in front of a red curtain. Produced as a limited edition print by Laurent Marcel Salinas (Chromist) between 1979-1982 for the portfolio Marina Picasso Estate Lithograph Collection established by his granddaughter. This piece comes with double mat and gold frame.
Picasso’s visual style and choice of subject matter developed dramatically over a short period of time. The time between 1901 and 1904 has come be known as his ‘Blue Period,’ 1905 his ‘Rose Period,’ from 1908 to 1911 his Analytic Cubist phase, and from 1912 forward his Synthetic Cubist phase.
